welll.... a truly challenging week.... monday, dental work- i have a huge phobia about dentist, so they whack me out to do anything- then my computer died, which is a serious work issue, since i freelance art, i have to have a graphic computer- ended up selling my other dead computer to a friend who found me a mac mini.... they are a trip.. for $300 i get a 19 inch monitor...look at this little computer...a full desktop in a small package of 6 x 6 x 2 inches
ok, then leave daughters- who is also sick and have a flat tire....sigh about 1 am this morning to add insult to injury, i get a stomach virus, also get the hiccups! i never get sick! so how do you handle eating as a diabetic when you can't keep anything down??? thundering gotta get off hubbies ancient laptop

I have been so wrapped up with the chicks- dog killed one rooster, i was so blasted mad! so the dog is permanently outside, which is a change for me- and sadly it is much more relaxing, he's got tinkerbell

out there with him- so had to get another rooster, which meant getting him a buddy until he was old enough to put with the older ones- soooo... here are the 3 i am trying to integrate... it will take a little time every day for 2 weeks with all of them together-

in getting chickens- i have opened a whole new world- they are very smart and comical and found some great friends that enjoy chickens and self sufficiency- and did you know you can give a chicken a bath and they love it??

meanwhile the coop is in process still- if it would stop raining we'd get it done quick...the most amazing thing for me is to see my hubby come out of his shell, with enthusiasm and working with me on the coop- other stuff, as usual, art- things have slowed down with the economy..ever hear the term 'starving artist' glad i'm not dependent on art income, although it sure helps... i am working with a web designer to get my site working, so my current site is only an intro, here is a banner for you all to share...
